D-Drill driving forward to growth

A national diamond drilling, controlled demolition and sawing company is driving forward its plans for growth after investing in the future.

D-Drill, which has offices throughout the UK, has spent over £270,000 on 25 new vans for its operatives around the country.

The vans can now be seen on the roads around the country taking the total number in the company’s fleet to 72.

D-Drill, which employs 100 staff nationwide, is also set to invest in training, machinery and marketing as it bids to expand during 2015/16.

Julie White, the managing director of D-Drill and a former Business Woman of the Year, said: “The D-Drill vans are well-known across the country and I very often get texts of people randomly telling me they’ve seen one of them!

“The new designs are even more eye-catching before and the more people see them, the more work we are doing which would be a positive sign for the construction
industry.

“We always say that we are a good barometer for the industry as a whole as we have offices as far north as Newcastle and as far south as Plymouth and work for smaller contractors right up to the largest firms in the country.

“So if we are busy, the industry is busy. We recognise that the work won’t just come to us so we are investing in a range of ways to ensure we drive forward over the next year.”
