Leadership award for D-Drill MD

D-Drill managing director Julie White has been honoured with another award.

Julie, who runs the company which has nine branches around the UK, was given an Excellence in Leadership award at the launch of Infrastructure21 – a partnership between New Civil Engineer, CECA and the UK Commission for Employment.

Infrastructure21 is an industry-led programme designed to support and drive improvement in the infrastructure supply chain.

During the event, several figures in the industry were honoured for their work in construction and Julie was among those who picked up a prestigious prize – presented by Crossrail’s chairman, Terry Morgan.

She said: “I am absolutely delighted to have been given this award – especially at the launch of such an important new programme.

“I found the whole event absolutely fascinating and there were lessons for all of us in the construction industry to learn – especially around the supply chain working together in a more collaborative way.

“That is something that I am extremely passionate about and I will do everything I can to support and push this progamme.”
