New Manager Craghead Office

Andrew Bowen has returned to D-Drill & Sawing and will lead the business’s team at the Craghead, North East office.

He briefly left the firm to join a company that supplies products to the construction industry but jumped at the chance of a return when the opportunity became available. Andrew will oversee D-Drill & Sawing’s operatives in Craghead, who work for a range of clients across the North East of England and Scotland.

He said: “I’m really pleased to be back. When I found out there was an opening to run the office in the North East, I spoke to the company and applied for the role. I am delighted to have been given this opportunity and I am looking forward to building on the success of this branch of D-Drill and developing it even further.

I’ve been in the industry since I was 18 and it’s up to me to pass on my experience and expertise developed over nearly 40 years to the next generation. The industry really needs a pipeline of new people coming into it and, here at D-Drill, we love to bring people through because we know that is the future of specialist construction companies like ours.”

Julie White, Managing Director of D-Drill & Sawing, said: “It’s great to have Andrew on board again. We have locations across the UK, servicing clients all over the country and the North East office is very busy, working on a whole host of different projects.

There is potential for further growth in the region and Andrew will drive that on for us with all the new specialist services that we have introduced, along with our core concrete cutting. These are very exciting times for the company.”
