New Plymouth Branch Manager – Jimmy Smith

D-Drill (Master Drillers) Limited has expanded the team and appointed Jimmy Smith as the new Plymouth Area Manager. Jimmy has over 30 years experience in the diamond drilling industry and he will apply this at D-Drill to develop the Plymouth branch.

Jimmy started out at CUT-A-WAY in Luton where he learnt the art of drilling techniques such as diamond drilling, concrete cutting and track sawing. Once graduated, he moved on to Kilnbridge in London where he stayed for four years and progressed to become a contract supervisor. Jimmy then worked for Drilltec as a contract manager and was soon promoted to contract director.

Jimmy said, “I’m really pleased to be working for D-Drill, they’re such a long established and reputable drilling company and I’m keen to apply my skills to further develop the Plymouth branch.”

The most recent expansion to the South West branch is a brand new purpose built office and workshop facility in Plympton, Plymouth.
