Julie White - Accepted into The Worshipful Company of Constructors

A very exciting day as Julie White, MD D-Drill was accepted into The Worshipful Company of Constructors

Being welcomed into the 99th Livery Company in the City of London is an extreme honour.

Accepting the Freedom and the Livery is a privilege and this special fellowship of constructors, offers connections with the best in our industry and indeed construction is the best industry in the world which forms the fabric around us as we live our lives.

To be recognised for her work in diamond drilling and specialist trades along side the wider work in various construction bodies and supporting boards and committees at government level.

Unlike some though, the livery is not open to everyone, with all members being connected with the construction industry and most have relevant professional qualifications; indeed entry to the Livery requires either a recognised professional qualification or relevant experience and seniority in the industry.  They are chartered surveyors, engineers, architects, builders and a number of construction specialists, as well as professionals in law, accountancy and other fields working within the industry.  Some of these professions have a livery company of their own but our members value the diversity found within our ranks, which has both a professional and social benefit.

She is very much looking forward to working with fellow Liverymen to support their charitable works in this historic organisation.

What she does want to know though is … where are her sheep!
