Triple award nomination for D-Drill

A Midlands company has kicked-off 2013 with a hat-trick of award nominations. 

Diamond drilling, concrete sawing and demolition specialist D-Drill, which is based in Coventry with offices around the UK, has been shortlisted for three awards at the prestigious Construction News Specialist Awards. 

D-Drill has been shortlisted in the Business Growth; Site Preparation and Services; and Training Excellence categories and will find out if they have been successful on March 26 at the London Hilton in Park Lane. 

Julie White, managing director of D-Drill, said: “This is a great way to begin the year.

“In spite of very tough trading conditions, we grew again in 2012 thanks to our hard work and investment in staff, training and technology. We also diversified into new areas of business.

“So this is a fantastic way to build on that and just to be nominated in three categories is a major boost for D-Drill.

“Of course, we would love to win but it is a great testament to the team that we have been nominated in these three different categories.”
