Hitting the headlines
07 February 2013
Diamond drilling, concrete sawing and demolition specialists D-Drill began 2013 with a bang when it came to profile.
Managing director Julie White appeared on BBC Radio Four’s ‘Bottom Line’ with Evan Davis, which was also filmed and aired on the BBC News Channel. (View link)
Julie, who oversees the company’s nine offices across the UK, then appeared on the BBC News Channel following the release of the GDP figures in January.
That was followed by a blog on the importance of apprenticeships on the Guardian’s small business network website. (View link)
And that was capped by a major feature in the construction industry’s key title Construction News, which also saw Julie appear on the front page of the publication on January 31. (View link)
Julie said: “It’s been a really good start to the year for the profile of the company.
“A couple of those features have been on our strong commitment to apprentices and that seems to be striking a chord.”
