Data Centre

We were contracted by Essex Services Group to form a sump pit and a trench in the floor of a Data centre. Our instructions were to cut the concrete and remove all the debris without making any dust.

We planned to cut the concrete into approximately 72 squares and remove to the site skips. When the skip company was informed that we were going to put concrete lumps in to the skip they refused to supply the skips saying “they do not accept concrete lumps in their skips”.

 As we could not create any dust within the building we had to move all the lumps outside on pallets and then break them into small pieces so the concrete could be carted off site.
