3D scanning at a major retail centre

This project was undertaken at St John’s, Liverpool a major retail centre at the heart of the city centre. In order to complete the project without causing any disturbance to the retail businesses and their clients, the work was undertaken out of hours at night.

The 3D scanning was of a large floor area to establish the size and configuration of the existing steel beams to provide accurate information to the structural engineers on the project, Cundall.

The construction to be undertaken was cladding of the exterior of the building for which accurate understanding of the structural integrity of the existing structure was required.
