Royal Mail Sorting Office, Doncaster

Send for D-Drill

D-Drill were called in remove high-level beams from Doncaster's disused Royal Mail sorting office.

The high-level beams that needed to be removed were too close to surrounding buildings to remove using normal demolition methods. The neighbouring chimney was only 200mm away from the beams to be removed.

D-Drill track saw cut the beams and then crane removed the sections to the floor safely. The job was noise and vibration free without any rubble falling on to adjacent buildings.

The client was very happy to be able to demolish the remaining building using normal methods.
