Diamond Drilling in a Birmingham residential tower block

D-Drill were called out to a residential tower block in Birmingham to help with the refurbishment of a waste disposal system.

As part of the refurbishment it was necessary to enlarge the openings for the larger rubbish chutes. Spacers were utilised on the drill rig to maximise the distance between the operator and the drop, plus ensure the rig and drill were in the most secure position possible during the drilling operation. 

The building remained occupied throughout the work and one rubbish chute had to remain in use at all times. No other companies were interested in working within these constraints, but D-Drill took up the challenge having carried out successful work on similar sites around Birmingham. All parties were extremely happy with the work ethic and performance of our diamond drill operatives.
