D-Drill team show their steel

We were called out to the AMG Super Alloy steel production plant in Rotherham to drill theough a 4 metre wide ramp.

The purpose of the job was to create a hole at an angle that would allow ponding rainwater to fall to the other side of the ramp to a rainwater gully, thereby reducing a slip hazard.

An accurate cut was vital, but hard to acheive working at such a low level close to the ground. However the 78mm diameter hole was completed with a perfect exit out of the other side of the ramp.

The customer was delighted with the speed and accuracy with which the work was completed.
