2 skilled operators from the Newcastle branch of D-Drill attended the new Elvet Bridge under the instruction of Balfour Beatty.

Working in confined spaces and being extra careful not to allow any contaminated water to run in to the River Wear, our lads drilled 60 78no holes in to 250mm of reinforced concrete. The holes were then filled with bolts to strengthen the bridge, ensuring safe future use.
